Young Professionals Career Development Series
 
 
YPC meetings are an educational forum for young professionals (40 and under) and that also presents them with a great opportunity to expand their professional contacts.
 
The Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber is proud to present the 2010 YPC Career Development Series,providing in-depth learning for young professional business leaders.   Designed exclusively for the Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber’s YPC program, the series is presented in partnership with the Scarlett Leadership Institute at Belmont University and the Lipscomb University College of Business, School of Executive Education. The 10-month Professional Development Series will be lead by recognized authors, professors and business leaders.

Scarlett Leadership Institute, Belmont University

"Coaching and Mentoring" 

Mary Fink is the Director of Leadership Program Development for the Scarlett Leadership Institute. Her subject expertise includes Continuous Quality Improvement, Team Building, Communication, The Change Cycle, Conflict Management, and Leadership. She is a certified trainer of the Implications Wheelâ and The Strategy Matrixâ, strategic exploration tools developed by process futurist, Joel Barker.
 
Ms. Fink brings years of healthcare and higher education experience as background for her teaching engagements. As Vice President for operations at Williamson Medical Center for thirteen years, she had responsibility for the hospital’s quality program as it evolved from Quality Assurance to Continuous Quality Improvement. Ms. Fink served as the major influence in leading her institution in its transformation. She served as the leader of the hospital’s Steering Committee, which planned, and monitored the institution’s CQI program.
 
Ms. Fink graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA, and a Master of Hospital Administration from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA.She has served as director of the Belmont University Center for Professional Development before returning full time to her first love: teaching.
