Founders 147 Million Orphans
We invite you to join Women in Business for lunch and learn more about the orphan crisis of the world and what you can do to help. Suzanne Mayermick and Gwen Oatsvall, founders of 147 Million Orphans, will challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and make a difference.
Suzanne and Gwen are two Moms who love orphans! Having met six years ago as they were both going through their first adoptions (one domestic and one international)......thirteen children and seven adoptions later, they are bound together through their faith and mission. They love "doing life together" and accepting the call to Speak Up for Orphans Everywhere. They want to help as many people as possible see the 147 million orphans who have no voice.
The ladies will discuss how you can do your part to help change the life of an orphan. It could be adoption, sponsoring a child, volunteering for orphan care missions, rocking babies at an orphanage, financially supporting someone adopting or buying products.
