In April, 2009, The Caterpillar Financial Center in Nashville was awarded the LEED -EB (R) Gold form the United States Green Building Council (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings).

Parking: Visitor parking is on the top floor which is also the access level to the building. Entrance to the garage is located between CF building and Loews Hotel (left side of west end) as you are heading east toward downtown.

Steve Zanolini, a 10 year veteran Caterpillar employee and its Global Facility Manager, has been in facilities management for the past 35 years. With an MBA in General Management from JFK University, a B.A. in English from Sonoma State University and an Associates in Arts from Santa Rosa Junior College, Steve’s extensive education and experience in the conversion of the existing Caterpillar Financial building to LEED EB Gold Standard will provide for an interesting discussion on how they achieved this prestigious award.
Join us we learn about how Caterpillar Finance achieved the prestigious LEED EB Gold Standard of Facility Management award.
Mr. Zanolini has assembled a guest panel of experts that will be discussing the conversion of existing buildings. Sitting on the panel will be Eric McKinney, American Contractors and Chair of the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the US Green Building Council; Mike Leonard, American Association of Architects with Hastings Associates and past Chair of the same association. Joining Eric and Mike will be Eric Scheffer with SSRCx.
