E|SPACES Concierge
Job Description

Join a growing company that is dramatically changing how people think about work and meetings. E|SPACES is a work and meeting space designed for today?s mobile workforce, including entrepreneurs, professionals and small companies who often work out of home offices and coffee shops. As an E|SPACES Concierge, challenge your multi-tasking skills to create a welcoming environment, train members, resolve minor technical issues, improve service and promote membership. Must have an outgoing personality, light technical skills, a professional image and an acute attention to details. College degree plus three to five years experience preferred.

Who We Are:
E|SPACES is a work and meeting space designed for individual entrepreneurs and professionals and small companies who work from home, their cars, coffee shops and hotel lobbies and whose work spans virtually every aspect of business and the professions.

E|SPACES combines the functionality of state-of-the-art offices with the aesthetics of a comfortable, inviting and professional community. Instead of walled offices, the centers are designed to be open, and they include a wide variety of work and meeting spaces, including meeting rooms which can be scheduled in advance.

The office amenities include wireless internet, copying and printing, document scanning, a business address and phone number, and of course free coffee. The centers are technology rich environments and are staffed by concierges weekdays from 8am-6pm.

Rather than a long term lease, members pay for only the amount of time they need on a month-to-month basis.

E|SPACES is a leader in the movement away from traditional, expensive and wasteful walled offices to flexible space designed for a workforce armed with mobile devices and the cloud. Our mission is to simplify life for busy, mobile professionals.

Key Duties:
As an E|SPACES concierge, your primary role is to serve as a host to members and their guests and ensure that their experience is a positive one on all levels. You are there to assist and support them within the confines of E|SPACES. You will also be expected to operate and maintain the space. This involves maintaining the space cleanliness and organization, coordinating and executing events, continually improving systems and processes, as well as closing prospective members and orienting them with the space. Below is a more detailed look into the concierge role:

Member Experience: Member experience is crucial to E|SPACES and the concierge is central to that experience. Your job is to make each and every member and guest feel completely comfortable in their environment. You will accomplish this with your attitude, language, appearance, knowledge, and professionalism. You will be expected to know how to download printer drivers on members? computers, conduct training for members to familiarize them with the technology, set up their phone lines/voicemails, and assist them in room reservations. You will also be expected to field any questions specific to our technology, which requires a basic understanding of general technology and a more in depth knowledge of our technology in particular. You will be in charge of taking each member through an orientation process, assisting them with their needs, and directing them to the appropriate channel, if necessary.

Operations and Maintenance: Your job is to keep the space clean and orderly, to the same standards as a five star hotel, at all times. This involves re-stocking all supplies in the space, keeping the floors, surfaces and counters clean, keeping the conference rooms in order, and maintaining a neat and orderly kitchen area. You will be expected to ?roam? the space every hour to maintain the space standards. This includes adjusting the blinds, testing the IT systems, and ensuring conference room scheduling accuracy.

Events: There are many different types of events held at E|SPACES, but all of them require coordination, planning, and execution. The concierge is the point person for every event happening at their specific location, so they are responsible for understanding the needs of each group, coordinating with the appropriate contacts, communicating internally and with members, setting up the physical space, and managing the event as an E|SPACES representative.

Other: Despite the amount of existing policies, there are situations which fall outside of the defined procedures, so it is necessary for a concierge to have a wealth of resources at their disposal to find a solution. You will need to know the roles of each employee in the company including your own, when to escalate questions or issues, and when to handle them on your own. You will be expected to take ownership of the space, proposing and executing improvements and refinements on a regular basis. You will also be expected to grow in the area of sales and closing prospective members. This will require proficient touring skills, friendly and welcoming interactions, as well as closing/sales skills.

Compensation dependant on experience. Great opportunity for advancement in a growing company.
